How to Encrypt a PDF file for Email (Free via pdfescape)

If you want to send a confidential PDF file via email, make sure you Encrypt it first.
The most easy and simple way to Encrypt (set password) your PDF file is via online. Not only that it’s safe, it’s absolutely Free.

1. Run any Web browser and go to https://www.pdfescape.com/
> Click Choose File

2. Browse your PDF file that you would like to Encrypt
> Click Open

3. Click on the “Lock” icon on yellow circle

4. Tick the Encrypt button
> Set the Password
> Click OK

5. Click the Save button

6. Click the Download button

7. The Updated PDF file is now downloaded

8. Open the file to double check if it’s encrypted
> Type the password you set
> Click OK

9. Congratulations.
> You may now send this PDF file via email to your client/customers
> Make sure you send the password on a separate medium of commutation (Example: SMS, Chat, etc.)
